I’m someone who feels deeply and moves through the world with sensitivity and reverence. I’m endlessly curious about human experiences and ways we can return to ourselves after struggle or harm.
When I was twenty, my parents separated, and the foundation I thought I could depend on cracked open. I changed my major that year to family studies, searching for answers. What began as curiosity became a lifelong devotion to understanding relationships and paths to healing. Through my twenties, I moved through relationships, therapy, and self-growth, thinking I was moving forward but often circling the same patterns. When I found energy healing, my life shifted and I realized how far from my authentic self I had been living within the norms of society.
As I deepened in my practice, I began to see the correlation with colonization and patriarchal infrastructures as a living imprint on our nervous systems and relationships. I realized that many of the norms I had been taught are remnants of colonial patterns and separation from our bodies and intuition.

My professional journey has been shaped by working within nearly every aspect of the mental health field including five years in the prison system. This influenced my understanding of how traumatic experiences not only take shape in individual experiences, but in collective ones through institutional systems. After over a decade in those environments, I felt called to offer something different. Ancestral Roots Reiki was created not only to serve individuals, but to embody a new model of healing that centers liberation.
Here, I help others reconnect with themselves. My work weaves therapy, somatic practices, energy healing, spirituality and mentorship to create spaces of safety, embodiment, and transformation. I specialize in trauma-informed and decolonized approaches that honor both the psychological and spiritual dimensions of healing.
Outside of holding space for others, you can find me on walks, trying new recipes, dancing around my house, or journaling visions. I enjoy soulful conversations, farmers markets and checking out the latest artist on tour. I am consistently reminded that joy and rest are essential for our souls missions.
