Have you been feeling down, low or just not yourself? Are you repeating patterns of behavior? Yelling at your partner? People-pleasing? Have you been diagnosed with Bipolar, Anxiety, Depression or Borderline Personality and still feel lost? Experiencing a difficult transition like a break-up, jail reentry, or loss of a loved one? The list can go on and I am here for all of it. I assure you that it can and does get better with the right support.
At ARR, we recognize making the decision to go to therapy can be hard as we, too, have been there. We provide a gentle, non-judgmental space for sharing, listening and growing. We are here to hold space for your pains and accountability for your growth. You deserve the life you dream and we believe that you can absolutely achieve it.
The Five Guiding Principles of Trauma-Informed Care
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a widely used therapeutic approach that helps individuals develop coping strategies to manage their emotions, thoughts, and behaviors more effectively.
Mindfulness is the state of being present in our brains and bodies. It aims to help individuals develop greater awareness of their thoughts, emotions, and bodily sensations, and to cultivate acceptance and non-judgment towards their experiences.
Brainspotting is an anti-oppressive, therapeutic technique that helps individuals process and release trauma, negative emotions, and other distressing experiences stored in the brain and body. It involves identifying “brainspots,” which are eye positions associated with emotional activation, and using them as access points to target and release unresolved issues. By accessing the brain’s natural ability to heal, Brainspotting can facilitate profound emotional and psychological healing.
